The Spirit is elusive.
You cannot “manage” the Spirit
My little boat on the water with the wind in its sails
Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
We align ourselves with the eternal.
In the world, everything comes to pass.
It all changes and passes away.
Lies pass away. Only the truth never changes.
Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
We are conformed to Him.
We participate in the divine nature.
That is indestructible life. That is eternal.
The Spirit is like the wind
--who knows where it comes from and where it goes--
It is elusive.
The elusive nature of the body of Christ,
That materializes and vaporizes at will,
And the hand of man cannot grasp it.
Institutional religion fails to realize the reality of the Spirit.
A letter versus a relationship
Protocol versus intimacy
Co-dependence versus maturity
An icon versus a face
Idolatry versus worship
A system versus an organism
Works versus faith
Artificiality versus reality
Flesh versus Spirit
It all hinges around God working in you.
Jesus come in the flesh.
His love working through me, which is his faith.
Faith releases life in the hearer.
God will meet you where you are
“Here I am, talking to you..” In your language, too.
Begotten by God
I have his seed, which carries in it the nature of its father.
It is my godchild.
“God is doing a new thing”
could be more properly understood if we understand
That the new thing is the new creation,
Which is being renewed in the image of Christ.
The New Man, as opposed to the Old Man.
But we are afraid of the actual presence of God.
The shock of the presence of God--His reality against our mortality.
Oh, I am all undone!
Mankind is cruel, but God is good.
Mankind will control and manipulate,
But God working in you is freedom; the appearing of Christ.
God is a God of order--His life coming forth will also be in order.
So you wholly trust your life to God, like a soldier running through a mine field.
There are only two ways to speak.
You can speak to man’s pride, or you can speak to his heart.
Whisper in the ear you find
To the heart, and those words will restore the person.
There are refugees from every city
Rocks and stars
Stones and ash
Vapors in the heavens
Trails of things that soar
If that is all there is
My life is dust and ash
And I am all undone.
They all speak of the one who spoke them
And speak he did
He spoke them
And then he spoke to them
From the beginning it was so,
And all down through the ages,
He spoke them
And he spoke to them
Still he speaks
And for that one I will sing
To him who spoke me out of dust and breath
And turned me to stone
Living stone
And to him who spoke me out of dusk and dark
And turned me to light
For that one I will sing.
If you would be a people of few words, only my words,
Then you would speak and have.
“Speak as the oracle of God.” (ref. script)
Ask clear questions to get clear answers.
You have not because you ask not.
You do not receive because you ask amiss.
Remember how simple and how direct David was with God?
We are born of one father, united by one blood
One people made to drink of one cup
Unite the heart of this people.
Jesus is the door.
God listens to those who wait for Him.
You don’t have to run all over creation trying to find him.
The way to God is through Jesus.
We join the fellowship of the father and the son.
Be still. Wait upon him.
And that which does not unify is none of him.
He spoke
He speaks
Talked to Adam, talked to Enoch
Talked to Noah, talked to Abram
Talked to Isaac, talked to Jacob
Talked to Moses, talked to Aaron
Talked to Samuel
Talked to David, talked to Nathan
Talked to Mary, talked to Joseph
Talked to John
Talked to Jesus
Talked to Matthew, Mark and John
Talked to Paul
Talks to me
The father
And the son.
He who hath not the son hath not the father.
Here we have the undeniable relationship,
Father and son.
We will join that relationship, but we will never usurp it or nullify it.
It is a lie that God needs no son, neither has a son.
Indeed he does have a son begotten by love
Which is a need and a reason
