Today was a dream. Today had no time frame. There were no delineations.
Today the sun was nectar and the breeze was doe washing fawn's face.
Today the Lilies reached out
With soft curling arms of exotic scent and shivering bangles of dark pollen
Today the Bees and I knelt in worship at the feet and gateways of Borage,
Breathing warmth and blue star flowers.
Today of a certainty I knew that all of Solomon's regalia
Could not come close to the clothing of flowers and fields.
For all that we put on, the raiment of life is so much more
Our fingers cannot make this mantle
Today it is the breath
And the beauty.
